After being awarded her medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Anam received residency training in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
As an endocrine fellow, Dr. Anam is conducting translational research at the intersection of metabolism and reproductive pathophysiology. Her previous clinical research experience during medical school and residency includes studies in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Weill Cornell Medical Center, and in the Departments of Dermatology and Anesthesiology at SUNY Downstate. She has been published in peer-reviewed journals and has made presentations at various professional meetings over the course of her residency and fellowship.
