Yi-Hao Yu MD, PhD, FACE
Endocrinology Associates of Greenwich, Northeast Medical Group; Medical Director and Chief of Endocrinology, Greenwich Hospital, Yale-New Haven Health System, New Haven, ConnecticutDr. Yu is a practicing endocrinologist with Endocrinology Associates of Greenwich, Northeast Medical Group, Yale-New Haven Health. He currently serves as Medical Director of endocrinology and the in-patient diabetes program at Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, Connecticut. Dr. Yu received his MD and PhD from NYU School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital. He subsequently held various positions including assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University, director of the in-patient nutrition services at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, director of the nutrition fellowship program of Columbia University Preventive Medicine & Nutrition, medical director of Discovery Medicine & Clinical Pharmacology at Bristol-Myers Squibb, clinical & teaching faculty at Easton Hospital, PA, and clinical associate professor of medicine at Drexel University. Outside of his medical practice and career interests, he is an active member of several professional organizations including the Americal Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE). His research interests include nutrition, diabetes, obesity and lipid metabolism. Dr. Yu has published over 20 original research papers in top-notch medical and scientific journals, as well as reviews, book chapters and clinical practice guidelines on these subjects.
