Weronika Pasciak BS

Netter MD School of Medicine, Quinnipiac University, North Haven, ConnecticutWeronika Pasciak is a second-year medical student at the Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. She graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a major in Human Physiology and a minor in Russian. Following graduation, she worked for two years at Brigham and Women’s Hospital on cardiovascular pharmaceutical trials, where she developed an interest in treating diabetes patients at high risk of developing vascular complications like peripheral artery disease. While in medical school, Weronika has served as the President of the Internal Medicine Interest Group and co-founded the Interprofessional Geriatrics Interest Group to expand students from all health professions' exposure to and training in geriatric health. Weronika is currently working on research to better understand hypoglycemia in older adults with diabetes. Following medical school, she is interested in pursuing a residency in Internal Medicine.
