Victor J. Del Brutto MD

Victor J. Del Brutto, MD, MS, is a board-certified Neurologist and Vascular Neurologist who currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Stroke Division of the Department of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Del Brutto completed his Adult Neurology residency training at the University of Chicago, followed by a Vascular Neurology fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami program, where he did a two-year Scholar Fellowship for the NINDS Stroke Trials Network, as well as a Master’s of Science in Clinical and Translational Investigation. Dr. Del Brutto currently works as a Stroke Neurologist at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Jackson South Hospital, and is appointed as Associate Director of Neurology at Jackson West Medical Center in Miami, Florida. Dr. Del Brutto has published more than 80 indexed manuscripts (H-index 22), co-authored several stroke chapters, and is appointed as social media editor for the Stroke Journal and editor of Blogging Stroke from the American heart Association.
