Clinical Fellow, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Department of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MinnesotaTing Zheng, MD, is a graduating fellow in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. With a career focus on personalizing management of esophageal and upper GI motility disorders such as gastroparesis, functional dyspepsia, and eosinophilic disorders, his research work during fellowship, supported by the NIH T32 grant, explored the roles of high-resolution gastroduodenal manometry and transpyloric EndoFLIP in selecting optimal candidates for the G-POEM procedure, as well as a phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of cannabidiol for gastroparesis. He has published 20 peer-reviewed articles, and he has received awards including ANMS Young Investigator Award and the Mayo Clinic Bargen Award. He also served as an editorial fellow of Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
