Terisa P Gabrielsen PhD, NCSP
Faculty at Brigham Young University teaching school psychology and autism across disciplinesDr. Gabrielsen is a school psychologist who specializes in autism spectrum disorder. Following 25 years of teaching accounting and business management, she received her PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Utah in 2012. She has completed internships in elementary and secondary schools and at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), followed by a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Center for Autism Research at CHOP. She joined the faculty of Brigham Young University in 2013, teaching school psychology and autism across disciplines. She is also a new faculty member (Autism Track) for the Utah Regional Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program. Her research interests are early identification of autism, social skills interventions, and interdisciplinary models of training.
