Taylor Karl MD
Clinical and Research Fellow, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, University of Colorado Hospital, Anschutz Medical Campus, Aurora, ColoradoDr. Karl completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania. She spent a year conducting research in the Clarke Lab at The Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine at Stanford University before earning her medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She completed her internal medicine residency training at the University of Colorado and is currently a first-year gastroenterology fellow at the University of Colorado. She will become a research fellow at the beginning of her PGY5 year. Dr. Karl has a particular interest in IBD and plans to pursue further advanced fellowship training in IBD, embark on a career as an academic gastroenterologist with specialization in IBD, and pursue a focus on clinical and outcomes-oriented research. Dr. Karl’s personal interests include skiing, swimming, backpacking, watching movies, reading, and playing the ukulele.
