Dr. Steven Edmundowicz is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora. He is also the Medical Director of the Digestive Health Center at the University of Colorado Hospital. He has held leadership positions in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy at Washington University School of Medicine, Jefferson Medical College, Allegheny University of the Health Sciences, and the University of Colorado.

Dr. Edmundowicz has had a strong involvement in the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), including his roles as Past President and as Trustee of the ASGE Foundation. He has participated in numerous clinical trials in endoscopy, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound. Most recently, he has been involved with trials of innovative endoscopic devices for use in the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease and morbid obesity. Dr. Edmundowicz remains active in clinical practice, clinical investigation, teaching, and administration.
