Professor of Medicine (retired) and Founding Director, Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education, University of California, San Francisco

Stanton Glantz retired from the University of California San Francisco faculty in September 2020, after 45 years on the faculty, including serving as the founding director of the Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education. As the tobacco landscape has changed, his work expanded to include cannabis policy, because of the interactions between tobacco and cannabis.
