Dr. Patel is currently a senior fellow in cardiovascular medicine and critical care at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a research fellow with the TIMI Study Group. He received his medical degree from UT Southwestern medical school, an MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and clinical training in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Critical Care at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. His research centers on antithrombotic therapies in atrial fibrillation, acute and chronic heart failure, and critical care cardiology.
