Shikha Gupta MD

Dr Shikha Gupta is an Additional Professor (Glaucoma Services), Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. She has done her MBBS and MD in Ophthalmology from AIIMS. She has co-authored >200 peer-reviewed research papers with her H Index being 28. She has numerous research awards to her credit which include AGS Alan Crandall Humanitarian Award (2024), the first recipient in the world, ARVO: Roche Collaborative Fellowship Award (2022), AIIMS International Fellowship Award (2022), ARVO: Developing country Eye Research Fellowship award (2021), Best paper APGS (2021), Best Surgical video (2^nd prize): World Glaucoma Congress (2015), Best poster, AAO (2010), Young investigator Award, Asia ARVO (2011) and many other National awards in various years. She is the editor of the book on Childhood Glaucoma https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-981-19-7466-3. She is spearheading glaucoma research by guiding >20 thesis and PhD students under her at present, pediatric glaucoma being her key focus.
