Shelley H. Miyasaki DDS, PhD
Assistant Chief, Dental Service, San Francisco VA Health Care System; Clinical Professor, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, University of California San Francisco, San Francisco, CaliforniaDr. Miyasaki received her dental degree from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry. Following this she did a 1 year General Practice Residency at UCSF, then was accepted into and completed the Oral Medicine Fellowship Program as well as the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency and the Graduate Doctoral Program in Oral Biology, all at UCSF. Dr. Miyasaki is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Medicine, a Diplomate of the American Association and American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine. She is currently the Assistant Chief of the Dental Service at the San Francisco VA Health Care System and holds an appointment as Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of California San Francisco.
