Norris, MD, is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Radiology and Section Head of Movement Disorders at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He obtained his Medical Degree at the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed a neurology residence and fellowship in movement disorders at Washington University School of Medicine. He is a board certified neurologist dedicated to the field of neuroscience through clinical expertise, research and education. Current research interests include application of advanced MRI and PET methods and the study of pathophysiological mechanisms of movement disorders, with special interest in dystonia. He has previously studied structure-function relationships in deep brain stimulation therapies as well as explored the role of the cerebellum in motor adaptation and learning. He is a member the American Academy of Neurology and International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society.
