
Sarah Pirio Richardson MD, FAAN
Professor and Co-Director, The Nene and Jamie Koch Comprehensive Movement Disorders Center, Department of Neurology, University of New Mexico; Chief, Neurology Service, New Mexico VA Health Care System, Albuquerque, New MexicoDr. Pirio Richardson is a Professor of Neurology and co-directs the Comprehensive Movement Disorders Program at the University of New Mexico. She also serves as Chief of Neurology at the New Mexico VA Health Care System. She completed a fellowship in Movement Disorders and Motor Control at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke in the Human Motor Control Section. She has an active research program focused on dystonia, Parkinson disease, clinical trial readiness and noninvasive neurostimulation in movement disorders and traumatic brain injury.
