Dr. Sandhya Deverapalli is Director of the Chemotoxicities and Transplant dermatology clinic at Tufts Medical Center as well as the department’s Director of Patient safety, Quality and Improvement Committee. Her clinical interests include complex medical dermatology, use of biologics to treat inflammatory skin disease and resident education. Her medical education spans across international borders where she completed a dermatology residency at one of the lead medical colleges in India (St John’s medical college) following which she was Head of the dermatology department for 2 years in a local Christian mission hospital. She re-located to the USA in 2012 to be with her husband. Here she completed a preliminary intern year in internal medicine in UConn followed by a dermatology residency at Tufts Medical center, Boston.
