Sahil Bharwani is currently a PGY-2 resident at Ochsner Medical Center’s Internal Medicine program, who is interested in pursuing a career in electrophysiology. He is an alumni of Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. During his medical studies he earned awards for his research achievements and efforts to improve the peer tutoring program. Sahil is a non-traditional student who had a variety of teaching, clinical, and research experiences prior to medical school, most notably as a research coordinator during the NASA NEEMO XXIII mission. Sahil has also earned a Master of Public Health from Case Western Reserve University and worked in the public health sector before deciding to pursue a career in medicine.
