Attending Pediatric Dentist and Director, Post-Doctoral Research, Boston Children’s Hospital; Assistant Professor of Developmental Biology, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MassachusettsDr. Rosalyn Sulyanto is the Director of Post-Doctoral Research at Boston Children’s, and an Assistant Professor of Developmental Biology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. While at Harvard, she conducted research on bone development as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellow. She completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at Nationwide Children’s Hospital/The Ohio State University and was awarded a Master’s Degree in Dentistry. Clinically, she treats infants, children, adolescents, and individuals with special healthcare needs. Her research focuses on the prevention of early childhood caries and the oral microbiome, and has been supported by several intramural and extramural grants. Dr. Sulyanto has authored numerous original manuscripts, book chapters, and reviews, including guidelines from professional societies. She serves as a committee member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, is a member of the editorial board of Special Care in Dentistry Journal, and a reviewer for Pediatric Dentistry, the journal of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
