Associate Professor of Neurology, Messina Medical School; Director, Regional Referral Center for the Treatment of Sleep Disorders, Messina University Hospital, Sicily, ItalyRosalia Silvestri, MD, is an associate professor of Neurology at Messina Medical School and the Director of the Regional Referral Center for the treatment of Sleep Disorders at Messina University Hospital. She is specialized in both Neurology and Pediatrics. Her primary research interests and clinical expertise include: sleep-related movement disorders, especially RLS, gender differences in sleep pathology, epilepsy and parasomnias and sleep dysfunction associated with neurological disorders. She currently serves as the President of the European RLS Study Group.
