Roger I. Ceilley MD

He is a Clinical Professor at the University of Iowa, Department of Dermatology, and is in private practice in Des Moines, Iowa specializing in skin cancer surgery and dermatologic surgery. He was director of a Mohs Surgery Fellowship program for 20 years.
He received his undergraduate education from the University of Northern Iowa, his medical from the University of Iowa, interned at the University of Colorado and completed his dermatology residency at the University of Iowa. He received training in Mohs surgery for skin cancer at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Ceilley is board certified in Dermatology, Dermatopathology, and Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.
He has also served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology and numerous other task forces and committees such as the National Coalition of Sun Safety. He is the Past President and Honorary Member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Fellow and Honorary Member of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, and member of the American Dermatological Association, the Noah Worcester Dermatological Society and Society for Investigative Dermatology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is also a member of the American Medical Association, Iowa Medical Society, and the Iowa Dermatologic Society.
Dr. Ceilley has authored and co-authored over 100 scientific publications, books, and chapters. He has also lectured extensively throughout the United States and Internationally.
