Dr. Beach is a Professor Emeritus in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension and Scholar Emeritus, John McGovern Academy of Oslerian Medicine.  He continues active involvement in the educational and research program in Nephrology and Hypertension, serves as a consultant for clinical care, and directs the Student-Run Clinic at St. Vincent’s House.  He has served as the division director of Nephrology and Hypertension and as the Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs.    He is the recipient of many educational and clinical awards including nomination for the Humanism Award from the Gold Foundation-AAMC three times and the St. Vincent’s 2015 Houston Heroes Award.
