Rebecca L. Quiñonez MD, MS

Dr. Rebecca L. Quiñonez began her medical journey in Mexico, where she attended medical school and developed a strong passion for dermatology. With a particular interest in skin of color, she pursued advanced studies and completed a master's program at the Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami.

Dr. Quiñonez has dedicated herself to understanding and addressing the unique dermatological needs of diverse populations. She has published multiple manuscripts and book chapters focusing on treatments in skin of color patients, a focus that continues to drive her commitment to improving patient outcomes. 

Her multicultural background and extensive training enable her to bring a unique perspective to patients and research initiatives. As a current research fellow at Henry Ford Department of Dermatology, Rebecca continues to dedicate herself to understanding and addressing the unique dermatological needs in skin of color. As she advances in her career, she remains committed to pushing the boundaries of dermatological care, with the goal of making a lasting impact on the field and on the lives of patients.
