Rosen, PhD is a senior investigator and leading expert in sexual medicine, quality of life outcomes in prostate cancer, and other cutting-edge topics in male and female health. He served as co-chair of the 2012 Pasadena Consensus Conference on Best Practices in Robot-Assisted Prostatectomy and the 1st and 2nd Princeton Consensus Conferences on Erectile Dysfunction and Cardiovascular Disease.Dr. Rosen is also a highly qualified expert in psychometrics and quality of life assessment in clinical research. He has designed and published several well known quality of life measures, including current “gold standard” self-report measures for sexual function in both men and women. Dr. Rosen has served as a senior consultant to the FDA, NIH, other federal agencies, and the pharmaceutical industry for more than 20 years. He has received NIH and pharmaceutical funding support for research in men’s and women’s health, and serves currently as PI on three large, multi-center, disease registry studies. Dr. Rosen has published more than 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and has received more than 30 grants and awards for research on these topics. He served as Chief Psychologist and Professor of Psychiatry at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School from 1982-2006. Dr. Rosen is currently Chief Scientist at New England Research Institutes in Watertown, Mass.
