Cardiologist, Electrophysiology Fellow, University of Adelaide, AustraliaDr. Rajeev Pathak is a Cardiologist and Electrophysiology fellow at the University of Adelaide, Australia. He completed his residency and advanced training in Cardiology at The Canberra Hospital, Australia in 2012, before pursuing his sub-specialization in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia.
He is the recipient of Eric N. Prystowsky Fellowship award (HRS 2014) for his ARREST-AF cohort study. Additionally, Dr. Pathak has been a presenter in Late breaking Clinical trial sessions at ACC, 2015 (San Diego) and in CARDIOSTIM, 2015 (Milan). He is a member of Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand and served as a Faculty member in Heart Rhythm Society and American College of Cardiology congress.
Dr. Pathak has been awarded the Australian Post Graduate Award, the Lions medical research scholarship and the Leo J Mahar Scholarship to pursue his PhD under the mentorship of Prof Prash Sanders. He has published widely in the field of cardiovascular risk factors management and implications on Atrial fibrillation.
