Dr. Asleh earned his M.D and Ph.D degrees from the Technion Faculty of Medicine in Israel. He completed his residency and fellowship in general cardiology at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel. His clinical interests include the treatment of end-stage heart failure, including cardiac transplantation. His research interests are focused on high density lipoprotein dysfunction and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease as well as the pathophysiology of coronary artery vasculopathy after heart transplantation.
