Prerna Dogra MD
Assistant Professor of Medicine, Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, Madison, WisconsinDr. Dogra completed her medical education at Topiwala National Medical College in Mumbai, India, through a scholarship program. In 2012, she relocated to the United States to pursue Internal Medicine residency training in New Jersey. Following her residency, she served as an academic hospitalist at the University of Kentucky for five years before embarking on a fellowship. She successfully completed a comprehensive three-year fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
Dr. Dogra is passionate about the physiology and pathology involving the pituitary and adrenal glands. In recognition of her contributions, Dr. Dogra was honored with the Women in Endocrinology Young Investigator award in July 2022. Over the years, authored and co-authored over 18 peer-reviewed articles, including book chapters.
