Associate Professor, Department of Cardiology, Akershus University Hospital and University of Oslo, Oslo, NorwayDr. Peder Langeland Myhre is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at University of Oslo, Norway, with faculty appointment in the Department of Cardiology, Akershus University Hospital, Norway. Dr. Myhre is the deputy head of the Norwegian Society of Cardiology Heart Failure Committee and Norway’s ambassador in ESC HFA Young. He is the leader of NorTrials Cardiovascular, a government supported initiative to increase Norwegian participation in clinical trials in cardiology. Dr. Myhre is a Social Media editor in Circulation and co-hosts the weekly podcast Circulation On the Run.
Dr. Myhre completed his PhD at University of Oslo in 2017 and continued as a postdoctoral fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, USA. Dr. Myhre’s research focuses on heart failure, clinical trials and cardiovascular biomarkers.
