Mohsen Afarideh MD, MPH

Mohsen Afarideh, MD, MPH, is a Dermatology Resident at the Department of Dermatology, Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN). He is a former Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Autoimmune Skin Diseases Unit, Department of Dermatology, University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA). His past research studies include randomized controlled trials testing the safety and efficacy of novel therapeutics in the management of autoimmune blistering disorders, cutaneous lupus erythematosus, and dermatomyositis using the validated scoring systems. He is a past recipient of Dr. Smith H. and Lucille Gibson Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Dermatology Award at the Department of Dermatology, Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN), where he conducted research on the gaps of knowledge in the epidemiology of various dermatologic conditions among children, adolescents, and adults in the United States.
