Dr. Elfishawi is a senior rheumatology fellow and VCRC-Vasculitis foundation fellow at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Elfishawi holds the academic rank of Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He has clinical and research interest in vasculitis and crystalline arthritis as well as an interest in medical education. Dr. Elfishawi was awarded the Duncan A. Gordon award in 2020 from the Journal of Rheumatology and the Howard Polley award from the Mayo Clinic Hench Society in 2022. He will be joining the faculty of the University of Minnesota in 2023.
