Michael X. Repka, M.D.,M.B.A., is the David L. Guyton, M.D., and Feduniak Family Professor of Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute. He specializes in pediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, ROP and pediatric neuro-ophthalmology. Dr. Repka completed his ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital. He joined the faculty of the Wilmer Eye Institute 1985. Michael served as the first chair of PEDIG (Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group) beginning in 1997 and remains active in this research network today. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Repka is the vice chair for clinical practice at Wilmer and the Medical Director for Governmental Affairs for the Academy.
