Michael Postow MD
Assistant Attending Physician, Melanoma-Sarcoma Oncology Service, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NYDr. Postow completed medical school at New York University School of Medicine and internal medicine residency training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. After residency, he pursued a medical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, working with Dr. Jedd Wolchok. He is currently an Assistant Attending Physician in the Melanoma-Sarcoma Oncology Service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center where he cares for patients with advanced melanoma and develops clinical trials of immunotherapeutic strategies. Dr. Postow’s specific areas of interest include studying the immunologic effects of radiotherapy and characterizing pharmacodynamic biomarkers associated with ipilimumab outcomes. He plans to continue bridging basic laboratory advances with novel clinical observations to improve the care of patients.
