After graduating from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Chemistry, Dr. Campoli was awarded both Medical Doctorate and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. His doctoral research focused on melanoma tumor immunology. Dr. Campoli finished his Dermatology residency and served as Chief resident at the University of Colorado Medical School, Aurora, CO. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Campoli completed a one-year fellowship in Mohs Suergy, Cutaneous Oncology and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under Drs. J. A. Zitelli and D. G. Brodland, Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Campoli has authored numerous articles and book chapters on skin cancer, tumor immunology and immunotherapy of cancer. He has been a speaker at both national and international meetings and his work has been supported by the National Institutes of Health, Department of Defense as well as the American Society for Dermatology Surgery.
