Dr. Mengyao Tang is a board-certified nephrologist and research fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, who has a particular interest in the interplay of chronic kidney disease (CKD), cardiovascular disease (CVD), and diabetes. She is supported by an American Heart Association (AHA) postdoctoral grant to study glycemic variability as a novel risk factor for CVD in CKD patients. Her long-term goal is to improve the health for patients with cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic syndrome.
