Maria Eliza de Freitas MD

Assistant Professor, Division of Neurology, Department of Medicine, McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Dr. Freitas is an Assistant Professor and Staff Neurologist at McMaster University. She completed a Movement Disorder and Cognitive Neurology fellowship training at University of Toronto in 2018. She is currently the Director of the "Brain Medicine Clinic", the first Neurology and Psychiatry joint clinic at McMaster University for management of Neurodegenerative diseases. Her research focus is on Parkinson's disease, Dystonia and Atypical Parkinsonism.
