Manol Jovani MD, MPH
Therapeutic Endoscopist, Division of Gastroenterology, Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, New YorkDr. Jovani is a therapeutic endoscopist with formal training in epidemiology and biostatistics. He received his MD degree from the University of Bologna in Italy and completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Milan in Italy. Successively, he completed an MPH focused on epidemiology and biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, MA followed by a research fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Jovani trained in a 2-year Advanced Endoscopy fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital and is now a therapeutic endoscopist at Maimonides Medical Center. He has authored/coauthored more than 70 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, including two clinical guidelines from the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and is a member of several national and international GI societies.
