Mac Machan MD
Mac Machan, MD graduated with honors from the department of Chemistry at the University of Utah, and then attended the University of Utah School of Medicine, where he was inducted a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. Following internship in Spokane, WA, Dr. Machan completed residency training in dermatology at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. After residency, Dr. Machan completed additional fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the direction of Drs. David Brodland and John Zitelli in Pittsburgh, PA. This Procedural Dermatology fellowship is certified by both the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) and the American Medical Association’s Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
Dr. Machan is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Surgery. Additionally, he has authored several articles on cutaneous oncology, dermatopathology, and general dermatology and lectured locally and nationally.
