Lynne Stevenson MD

Lynne Warner Stevenson MD

Professor, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts; Director, Cardiomyopathy and Heart Failure Program, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts

Dr. Stevenson is Director of the Cardiomyopathy and Heart Failure Program at BWH and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She served on national guideline panels for heart failure, pacing devices, patient decision-making, CMS and JCAHO standards. Her research has focused on the physiology of decompensation and re-compensation, and includes leadership roles in NHLBI-sponsored studies for strategies of medical and device therapies in advanced heart failure. Strong commitments for her remain the tailoring of therapies to physiology and individual life journeys and training for the next generation to sustain both new discovery and the still-unparalleled privilege of caring for patients.
