Laurence Albiges MD, PhD
Head, Genitourinary Unit, Gustave Roussy Institute, Villejuif, FranceDr Laurence Albiges, M.D., Ph.D., is a medical oncologist in the Genitourinary group of the Department of Cancer Medicine at the Institute Gustave Roussy, in France.
She trained in Paris, got her MD in 2010 as Medical Oncologist, and moved to the Genitourinary group at Gustave Roussy Institute in 2011. She completed her PhD. focused on Papillary Renal Cancer in 2013. She subsequently moved as a visiting scientist at The Lank Center for Genitourinary oncology of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in 2013-2014.
Her main field of interest across genitourinary tumours is renal carcinoma and metastasis to the bone of renal and prostate cancer. She is developing translational programs within these settings.
She is a member of ASCO, ESMO. She is the recipient of several grants and awards including UNICANCER- Fondation de France grant, ASCO 2014 Annual meeting Merit Award and ASCO GU 2015 Symposium Merit Award.
