Lauren Joyce BS

Lauren Joyce is a Senior Clinical Research Associate at the Center for Interventional Cardiovascular Research and Clinical Trials at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In this role, she contributes to manuscript writing for the Center, and is involved with project management of the TWILIGHT (Ticagrelor With Aspirin or Alone in High-Risk Patients After Coronary Intervention) study. Prior to this position, Lauren was employed at Axovant Sciences, Inc. as an Executive Administrator and contributed to the administrative management of Axovant’s clinical trials. Lauren has also previously participated in research and internship experiences with Northwell Health, GapMedics, VCU Medical Center, the University of Richmond, Columbia University Medical Center, and the University of Maine. Lauren graduated cum laude from the University of Richmond with a B.S. in psychology and a concentration in neuroscience. She is an aspiring physician with the intention to matriculate to medical school in the fall of 2020.
