In her diverse career, Kerith has worked for thirty years across the public and private sectors in nutrition and dietetics and has combined dietetics with research since 2008. She now specialises in gastrointestinal nutrition as a Senior Research Fellow for the Centre of Research Excellence in Digestive Health at the University of Newcastle, led by Distinguished Laureate Professor Nicholas Talley. Kerith’s role in this multi-disciplinary, international research collaboration focuses on understanding the relationship between food, the gut microbiome and gastrointestinal health and disorders.
