Katherine Nole MD

Katherine L. Baquerizo Nole MD

Dr. Baquerizo Nole received her medical and dermatology degree from San Marcos University in Lima, Perú, worked as a Department chief at Marino Molina hospital, and underwent a 6-month fellowship in Dermatopathology at the Wake Forest Medical School. She is currently a wound research fellow at University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Kirsner.

Her experience includes several research projects in chronic wounds and prescription adherence. She has clinical experience in rural medicine, clinical dermatology, dermatopathology, and wound healing. Her main interests are atypical wounds, dermatopathology, and research funding.
