She attended medical school at McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas where she also completed her internal medicine residency and chief year. She then moved to the University of Colorado to complete her training in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine. Her clinical interests include management of advanced pulmonary diseases, in particular nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) and bronchiectasis, and lung transplantation.
