John Meisenheimer MD

John Meisenheimer is currently working with the University of Minnesota Department of Dermatology in a research position. He completed his PGY1 intern year with the University of South Florida Department of Internal Medicine in 2024 and received his MD from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in 2023. While earning his degree he was inducted into both Alpha Omega Alpha and Robert A. Good honor societies. John received his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Florida in 2018. He was a part of a small group of less than 50 students selected to participate during the rollout of the newly developed major.  His research interests include hair diseases, hidradenitis suppurativa, and the epidemiology of dermatologic conditions. He has a particular interest in rigorous evidence-synthesis reviews, medical device design, graphical visualization of scientific concepts, and statistics.
