Jason Garlie MD
Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist, Metropolitan Cardiology Consultants, Metropolitan Heart and Vascular Institute, Minneapolis, MinnesotaDr. Garlie received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Hanover College in Indiana. He earned a master’s degree in physiology & biophysics, as well as, his medical degree from the University of Louisville. He completed his residency training in internal medicine at Indiana University. Following residency, Dr. Garlie completed his general cardiology and electrophysiology fellowship at the Krannert Institute of Cardiology. He is board certified in internal medicine, comprehensive echocardiography, cardiovascular medicine and electrophysiology.
Dr. Garlie’s research interests include heart failure and electrophysiology. He has co-authored articles appearing in Basic Research in Cardiology and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Garlie has been an editorial contributor to Practice Update since 2013.
