Assistant Professor of Oncology, Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, Johns Hopkins, Baltimore, Maryland

Dr. Naidoo is an Assistant Professor of Oncology and attending physician at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University, specializing in the field of lung cancer and immunotherapy. 

Dr. Naidoo obtained her medical degree from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and is originally from Durban in South Africa. She completed her internal medicine and medical oncology training in Ireland, followed by an advanced medical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, prior to joining the faculty at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Naidoo is the recipient of multiple awards including an NIH KL2 scholar award, ASCO merit award, and young investigator award for non-small cell lung cancer. 

Dr. Naidoo’s research interest is in clinical trials of combinations of immunotherapies for the treatment of lung cancer and other thoracic cancers, as well as the side effects of immunotherapies for cancer, why these happen, and how they can be best managed. She serves on US national guidelines (NCCN, SITC) for the management of immune-related toxicity. She is also the chair of the immunotherapy subcommittee of the NRG cooperative group, as well as Co-chair of the Johns Hopkins multidisciplinary immune-related toxicity team.
