Professor of Neurology and Director, The University of Kentucky Comprehensive Care Center for MS, Lexington, KentuckyDr Jagannadha ("Jay") Avasarala works as Professor of Neurology and directs the comprehensive multiple sclerosis center at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He worked as the MS section chief of the AAN, 2020-2022.
His current research interests include analysis of large databases for MS and central demyelinating diseases, exploration of vascular biomarkers for MS diagnosis, translational research, and early diagnosis of giant cell arteritis to curb blindness.
