Jacob Hillard OD, MS

Dr. Jacob Hillard is an optometrist in the VA Lexington Healthcare System at a community clinic in Somerset, Ky.  He is residency trained in Ocular Disease and Low Vision. He completed a 2-year research fellowship in Boston, MA investigating morphological features of glaucomatous optic nerves. During his optometric education he completed a Master’s degree in Vision Science. His research at the Indiana University School of Optometry utilized adaptive optics imaging to detect the effects of hypertension on retinal vasculature.
