Clinical and Research Fellow, Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, New YorkDr. Said completed his undergraduate degree in Biology (BS) at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated summa cum laude. He then earned his medical degree (MD) at the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated with distinction in research and service. He went on to complete his residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School and is currently a fellow in gastroenterology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Dr. Said’s clinical and research interests involve the intersection between neurogastroenterology and inflammatory bowel disease.
