Grenye O’Malley is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Bone Disease at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She graduated from NYU School of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology at Mount Sinai. She is a two time awardee of the Cullman Family Award for Excellence in Physician Communication which honors providers who demonstrate exceptional communication in clinical practice. Dr. O’Malley’s clinical practice and research focus on use of technology to improve diabetes care especially during and around pregnancy. She is currently an investigator in multiple large clinical trials involving type 1 and gestational diabetes technologies including closed loop artificial pancreas studies.
