George Tolis, Jr MD
Section Chief, Coronary and General Cardiac Surgery, Brigham and Women’s Hospital; Assistant Professor of Surgery, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MassachusettsGeorge Tolis, Jr, MD, was born in Chicago, IL. He received his BS/MS Degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University and his MD degree from Harvard Medical School. He currently serves as Section Chief of Coronary and General Cardiac Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA and is Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. His clinical interests include liberal utilization of bilateral internal mammary grafts and coronary endarterectomy in coronary revascularization, surgery for bacterial endocarditis and operative surgical education.
