Siegelman, MD, is Professor of Radiology and Section Chief of Body MRI at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated summa cum laude from Franklin and Marshall College in 1984 with a B.A. in Mathematics and earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1988 as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Siegelman completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and his fellowship in Body MRI at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. After completing his training in 1994, he joined the faculty at University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Siegelman has been recognized with many awards for his excellence in teaching, contributions as journal editor, and has been frequently recognized as a Philadelphia Magazine Top Doctor. He is active in local, national, and international societies as a recognized expert in Body MRI imaging, serving on both Li-RADS and O-RADS committees of the American College of Radiology. Dr. Siegelman has authored or co-authored over 130 peer-reviewed articles and is the author of the textbook Body MRI.
